Joshie was really excited to be able to play T-ball with his team mates. So much so that he forgot how to play! (Well we are still learning how to play so there isn't much to forget, but we will say he forgot.) It was very enjoyable to watch him play and have so much fun with his team.
I love it!!! I heard the mama was a little too competitive for a T-ball game though...lol
ReplyDeleteha ha ha. Hi my name is Chelsea and I'm a competition addict.
ReplyDeleteI can't help it if I want my kid to be a rockstar! Someone has to be the sports fanatic in this family ;)
I thought you majored in psycology though, and the psycological ramifications of a parent pushing too much competitiveness on the child will only result in the child not wanting to compete at all....lol, it's cool to be competitive, just don't overdue it :P
ReplyDeletesays the pot calling the kettle black!!! Come on Jake your like the one other Barnett that loves sports!
ReplyDeleteand hey my mom pushed me to be the best and it never made me want to not compete, only squash the competition!
Yea Chelsea is competitive, and I have to live with it. ;) Everything is a competition, who does the dishes better, who watches TV the best, Oie! enough already ;)
ReplyDeleteYup, but until the child can actually understand how to play and focus on being better, i say let them run around like chickens with no heads jsut to have fun :)
